Off to Greece

I am off to Greece for two weeks. Above, the island of Chios, in the Aegean Sea.

Last Thursday: Dinner at Caffe Falai, and then the hilarious rock musical Passing Strange at the Public Theater, which reminded me quite a bit of Hedwig and the Angry Inch in its musical telling of a young bohemian's international journey, punctuated with calls from Mom in LA. The music is fabulous. Go see it.

And on Sunday: Is it improvisation or careful choreography? Noche Flamenca at Theater 80.

Meanwhile, on the movie front:
The Man Of My Life, 2006 - Questioning one's sexuality with Provence as a backdrop.
Friday Night, 2002 - Questioning one's fidelity with Paris as a backdrop.
